Running out of time
A photographic project that intertwines the story of an impossible love with an incisive critique of the unsustainable fashion industry. Through images full of symbolism, the language of fairy tales becomes a powerful metaphor for this narrative.
Each shot is a fragment of a suspended story, where time flows inexorably and the characters seem to fight to preserve what is authentic in an artificial and consumerist world.
The dreamlike settings reflect the contrast between dream and reality, while the clothes, transformed and revisited, become themselves protagonists of a metaphor on the infinite cycle of production and consumption. The love that binds the two protagonists becomes impossible not only because of their condition, but also because of the inevitable intrusion of an all-consuming system.
The project brings its radical and sustainable vision to the center of this narrative. “Running Out of Time” represents not only an aesthetic journey, but also an urgent reflection on the need for ethical and conscious change.
Through this series, Too Me continues to demonstrate how fashion can be a tool for profound expression, a vehicle to redefine values and sensibilities in our relationship with what we wear and consume.
